Life

There is just something about it that seems hard to place your finger on

Something about it that seems so surreal

Just like we are people, on this earth

living our day to day lives

waiting

and

waiting

for the next step

for that next moment

or milestone that we can cross off our list

I often think what I want out of life

what I want to accomplish with the time I have here on this earth

I plan

and I plan for plans that may never happen

I plan to be married

I plan to have kids

I plan to be a successful nurse

I get hopeful when I think of the future

but bummed when things don't go my way

I have to realize that they are not my plans

nor do I have any control over them

He has my plans mapped out

He knows what I can and will cross off my list

So for now

I plan to be happy

content with who I am and what I have accomplished so far

Make people laugh

and love the life they are given

because

they will see how much I love mine
