Today, I am supposed to be in Tallahassee, Florida, for my best friends birthday weekend. I would be able to see my bestfriend of 12 years, explore the town, and have the best time ever. I mean, who doesn't love celebrating birthdays? However, changes happen, and I am currently sitting on my couch in chilly Sarasota, Florida, with a cup of coffee, dressed in sweat pants. Glamorous huh? Going with the flow is something that has always been hard for me, but I am doing my best to change that. I like planning and knowing what is going on all the time and what is going to happen next. But why do I always need to know? And why do we get upset when things don't go the way we expect? So now, I am going to make a conscious effort to be flexible, ride the waves as they come, or whatever you want to call it.
