friday favorites; a little pink celebration

My absolute favorite thing about this past week was last Sunday. I attended this adorable baby shower for Jared's sister-in-law and her baby bump. Yes, this beat out writing papers, studying for midterms, taking midterms, and yes, even watching The Bachelor. Of course, it was filled with pink, diapers, tea, and who doesn't like eating fruit dip out of baby food jars? I am beyond excited for this baby girl to get here. The best part about her arrival? Finally getting to know her name! It's been kept a secret for almost seven months now and the soon to be parents are keeping a tight lip. I have my guess as to what her name is, but I'll keep that to myself.

To Mandy,
You are going to make the most wonderful and caring mama. I cannot wait to be a part of this little girl's life. I may completely spoil her, as if you couldn't tell by her baby shower gift, (this involved a huge pink tutu) but it is all out of love. Can you make April come a little faster please?

To Curtis,
Your little girl is going to be a daddy's girl; she is also going to be wrapped around your finger, melting your heart from a very young age. You're going to love it. Also, you may want to consider keeping should keep that shotgun handy for when she gets older.

Don't you agree? With parents that look like this, you know she is going to be just beautiful.

This looks like it was such a nice party. The food looks terrific, with all those cute little details, particularly that amazing baby on the cake!

Your tutu gift reminds me of a time my niece visited when she was little. I had a tutu in my costume stuff, that she absolutely insisted on wearing out for dinner. Of course it was way too big for her, but we pulled the drawstring tight and made it work. Because she just had to wear it, right?!

The whole party was so sweet. The cake topper and shoes on the cupcakes were made by a lady in California and were shipped to Florida. You can find her shop on Etsy, sorry for not knowing the link.

& I can't wait to see that little girl in her pink tutu!
