I am going to be talking about another place in my city this week, Pastry Art. One of the beauties of Sarasota is its downtown Main Street area, but especially the little cafes located there are great. Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, the quaint place that fits at most forty people, is ALWAYS full. The atmosphere is cozy and comforting and who doesn't love a little hanging chef man in the middle of the restaurant. Their muffins are splendid, and the large vanilla lattes? Literally the size of my head, at about half the cost of starbucks. Sounds like great coffee to me. The name Pastry Art comes from the fact that they have artwork surrounding the place, and every so often, they switch out the art with other local artist's artwork and sell them. I'm not sure how much they sell, but atleast it gives you something to look at while enjoying a scone or fruit tart. Last time I went to this place for some breakfast, we enjoyed the company and compliments that a local elderly man at Pastry art bestowed upon us. I will never turn down a sweet man saying to my friends and I, "Have you been here before? I would have noticed if there were this many pretty girls here." Thank you old man whoever you are, you made my day. Do I need to give you any more reasons why I love this place? Okay one more. I LOVE COFFEE. That about sums it up.
Let me know your favorite places to grab some grub in your city!
Maybe someday I just might make my way there.

The best place is my little town is Starbucks, we dont have many coffee shops, I dont think we have any honestly. Im kinda jealous, I want some of that coffee, and those muffins. lol.

Hi I am Ana and I just stumbled upon your blag thanks to Darianne. Your blog is the cutest:) I love it!
Yummm, looks great! My fave place to get some food in Austin is Kerbey Lane, they sell pancakes 24/7 and is the best place to go in the wee hours of the morning! They also have the best enchiladas I've ever had (which is weird because they are not a mexican restaurant!)
:)
