This shoot was a rather interesting one. Both Jared and I (mostly I) were very excited to receive our hats from the Blank Pages sponsor, Robyn from She Makes Hats. I knew how talented she was, which you can see here. We had gotten them about a week ago, but with our schedules, it was hard to find a time to actually take pictures in them. When I shoot my outfit pictures, it usually takes about five to ten minutes to get all the pictures I need. Jared takes them, and when I feel satisfied, we are done. For this shoot, however, Jared couldn't be behind the camera because he had to show off his new head accessory of course. So our shoot went a little like this: Grab my mother who is notorious for knowing nothing about electronics or that most cameras are relatively simple to use. Shoot couple shots, shots of Jared, and shots of myself all before the camera battery died, which was about five minutes total, and the clock was ticking. Also, pray that it didn't rain in that five minutes. Because if you actually notice, the weather looks more like a winter day in Ohio than the sunshine state of Florida. But after all was said and done, we got it all accomplished. May favorite part? Look at my man and his print mixing. Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks?
