It's Monday everyone! Another one. Mondays bring a new week and new changes. If you haven't noticed, this blog got a little makeover from the lovely Aubrey from The Kinch Life. It was my first time winning a giveaway, and what an amazing one to win. This girl has some serious talent if you ask me. Now that my schedule has opened up, I feel like I don't know what to do with all my free time. There are so many little DIY projects I would like to do, thrift shopping will be included, reading, and lets not forget about a normal eating schedule. No more eating at nine o'clock at night with whatever I can find in the fridge, which is usually some left over mac and cheese or pizza. Mmm, pizza sounds pretty good right now. Anyways, back to my free time. Reading. I want to have a novel in my hand, one that I can't put down. It's been the longest time since I've been submersed in a book, reading about the lives of fictional people and being totally swept away. Crying when they cry, getting that giddy feeling when something special happens.
So here's where you come in. Help me out and let me know what book I should read. Whether it's a spiritual one or just plain for fun. I just need that pleasure of being excited to read. Because we all know that when school roles around, reading a book about ethics isn't going to be the most exciting. Speaking of school, I can't believe summer is already over. Be prepared for me to complain about this in the upcoming weeks.
Can't wait to check out all the suggestions! Hope you Monday isn't manic. Ha.
Love the new look! And I wish I had book suggestions, but I'm finding I don't have time to read lately- I totally miss it though. I think the last book I bought was Cupcakes and Cashmere (love any book by a fellow blogger) and from flipping through the pages it looked pretty good :)
Blog looks amazing! Love it :) You should read Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers. Oh my word... You won't be able to put it down, stop thinking about it, etc.. You gotta read it Amy!

The real question is, how much of a dork are you? Because I'm a huge one, and I'm just reading all the Harry Potter books now, and I LOVE them ;) Super light, fun, easy reads that make you feel good and just plain relaxed! xo, Katie
