friday favorites; sarasota
My friends, this post has been a long time coming. And if any of you live in Sarasota, you've probably asked yourself why I haven't made a friday favorites sarasota post about it. I'm still not even sure that the pictures do the place justice. The Sarasota Architectural Salvage or more commonly known as "The Salvage Yard" has the THE coolest finds when it comes to anything vintage, rustic, and one of a kind. They have anything from old record players, to doors, to trunks. I will own that suspended iron chair one day. Wouldn't is be just darling with a cushion and some paint? I could go on, but you could literally go on forever about this place. As it's in an old warehouse, during the summer it gets a little hot walking around, but my favorite time to go is right before it gets dark while the sun is getting ready to set. It's a photographers dream I tell you. As this place is a little pricey (they can afford to be since there are NO other places like this) I've never actually bought anything. But when I get my own place, watch out Sarasota Architectural Salvage, I'll be coming for you. Want to see more? Visit their website HERE.
TGIF! I'll be spending my day with a little 4 month old and going on a little field trip to Chick-fil-A. Amazing day, right?
What are you looking forward to this weekend?
