my attempt at designing a super cute tshirt

hat: Cotton On // jacket: Old Navy // tee shirt: designed by me from Whoop Tee // pants: Target // socks: Target // boots:  Steve Madden
Have you ever heard of Whoop Tee? Well, me neither until not that long ago. When they contacted me about designing my own t-shirt, I jumped right on that train because who wouldn't want to design their own t-shirt. Designing my shirt was a bit of a challenge because there are so many possibilities. I tried numerous designs, but imperfect feathers done with simple lines is what I ended up with. I don't know if I have another t-shirt that I feel as though it's nice enough to wear out or at least put together in a decent outfit. Of course, I have the numerous drawer fulls of the free and-im-not-in-a-position-to-turn-down-free college t-shirts that are bursting out. But this shirt is different. It's not that normal scratchy material, it has shorter, more attractive sleeves, and is longer than most t-shirts. Win. Win. And win again. Plus, who wouldn't want a perfect shirt marked with imperfect feathers? Pair it with a hat and some funky socks and you're set.

If you love the shirt as much as I do, check back tomorrow for a giveaway from Whoop Tee for two lucky people for my imperfect feathers shirt!

*wardrobe tip: hats can hide even the most unsightly of hair. Whether it's a floppy, fedora, or beanie, you can skip that morning shower if you're in a hurry.

Designing your own unique t-shirt sounds so fun! And I'm a big fan of the Fedora trick--you go from having messy hair that you can't be bothered to "fix"--to looking as awesomely cool as anyone who wears a fedora must be! :)

An applause for that T-shirt and boots combination. You clearly have a good taste in fashion.
