This project has become one of my favorite new additions to my ever changing room! It is super simple, finding the perfect shelf was the hard part. Luckily Goodwill pulled through again and I found this one from TJMaxx for $4!
Supplies:
>>shelf
>>apple
>>sharp knife
>>cutting board
>>gold paint
>>paintbrush
Here's what you do:
Cut the apple into a triangle (my advice is to have two apples on hand just in case the first doesn't go as planned). Paint the flat triangle part of the apple with the paint and press the apple onto the shelf and hold for a few seconds. You may have to rock the apple back and forth to get the whole triangle onto the shelf. Slowly lift the apple off the shelf without smearing.
Hang it up and place some pretty treasures on it and you're good to go! Is anyone else out there extra happy that it is Friday? I know I sure am. Today is the last day of the first week of LPN school and my brain is pretty much fried. Cheers to the weekend and not learning about glove removal, hand washing, and gait belt placement!
