on being home

Remember here when I told you about how worried I was to move back home? Honestly, I don't know why I was worried in the first place. It has been a smoother transition than I could have ever asked for. After a week of continual cleaning and organizing, my room is almost back to normal. Have you ever had to move or clean everything out for a garage sale? It's terrible how much JUNK one person can acquire without even noticing it. I cannot tell you how much stuff I haven't seen in years and how many trash bags I filled. You would have thought that I was a hoarder with a room like a Mary Poppins bag that fits everything into it. I honestly do not know how all that stuff got in there. Back to my point though. My relationship with Jared has blossomed more than ever. I feel excited to see him everyday, just like when we were first dating. I feel that spark again that seemed missing for some time; I never want to lose it again. Living in the same room as before, I feel as if it has changed along with the person living in it. I don't come back in the room and feel like I'm seventeen again. I feel like the more mature and responsible person I have grown in to, probably because you can see the floor more than once in a blue moon, and I have bought a grown up desk that I cannot wait to put to good use. My parents treat me like the adult I have longed to be treated like. Long story short, I had nothing to worry about. Which is usually the result in most cases. Someday, I will learn.

Oh, just to give a little shout out to one of my favorite bloggers, Erin, from Living In Yellow who is visiting the most special place in my heart, Sarasota. You all know how much I love Sarasota, right? (if you don't, where have you been?)
Erin, I hope my little town didn't let you down.
And next time you visit? Be sure to let me know. I can show you how us Sarasotians live. You'll get to see everything, Amish town and all.
