There are so many things I love about this outfit. First, there's a knit sweater/top. Love wearing items that have the fabric of winter but the structure of summer. Also, this black maxi dress. I die. Probably the most worn item to work since I can easily throw it on even if I am still sweating from playing with six year olds. Thrifted for $5 (claps and shouts commence please). Last but not least, this layering triangle necklace from Son of a Sailor. Again, I die. When I found their Etsy shop and contacted them, I was thrilled when they agreed to send me this piece, I probably would have begged them to because that's how much I love it. You ALL need to get over there and purchase some of their pieces. Since this is a "layering" necklace, I am dying to get my hands on this pendant. You can write that down for my birthday. As a bonus, the packaging these pieces comes in amazing. A little bit vintage, a little bit whimsical.
See, basically perfection.
* Jessica, the genius behind the shop suggests to expect the brass to oxidize and gain unique antiquing marks as you wear it more, and hand painted items should not be worn in water.
On another note. I splurged. Like one of those times when you walk out of the store and think why, oh why, did I just buy that? You are probably asking what I bought. Two pairs of shoes. TWO! I mean who goes into the store looking to buy tennis shoes and comes out with not one, but two pairs of heels. Here's the lowdown on the deal. My heart melted when I saw Lauren Conrad yellow and Simply Vera Wang green.
Lauren, I adore your heels, just not the price. When I saw these peep toe heels for $27 I was hooked.
Vera, your wedges are rockin, especially at the $29 price they were.
In the end, the both ended up costing way less with the coupon and sale magic combination.
Total cost: $37 buckaroos for both pair.
Here is where I need your help. Should I keep the Lauren or the Vera, or give into my guilty obsession and keep both. I mean, are you really going to make me return a less than twenty dollar pair of fabulous shoes?
Give me some advice!

I'm about to be a terrible shopping influence, but keep both! They are really adorable and were such great deals. If you really feel like you can't afford to keep both, though, I would stick with the yellow Lauren Conrads.

I have to agree with Sierra, for that price and those shoes, keep'um both girlfriend, keep'um both! Seeing as I almost always leave a store asking why I bought things, give it some time (I always do), because Kohl's takes things back at any point in time with receipt. But, if you must return one of the two, I vote to keep the yellow LC ones. Hope it helped!
