I may be a little late in sharing the celebration of the fourth, but I since it was the most exciting part of my week, it simply had to wait for my friday favorites. I haven't watched the fireworks up close in a really long time and I felt like that little girl in the last picture. I found myself saying "that's so cool!" and, "how do they do that?" This will definitely become a tradition of mine. There is nothing better than downtown Sarasota, with friends; a double date with our fellow long term relationship friends, Emily and Darin, watching the fireworks. Next time, there will definitely be sparklers; but hey, we had light up necklaces that made all the kids (and adults) envious. Winners I would say we are.
I hope you all had a happy and safe fourth of July! Let me know what your favorite part about this flag celebration is.

The Fourth is my favorite holiday, there is nothing more that I love than fireworks. It's so nice to feel like a little kid for those 20 minutes.

Those light up necklaces bring me joy! I just spent my 4th of July in a big city, but I come from a smaller town that goes CRAZY patriotic. I was surprised by the lack of red white and blue in this new city. And where were all the glow sticks and neighborhood parades?! Glad you celebrated in style.
My favorite part: the neighborhood parades with little kids all dressed up and their bikes all "tricked out" with streamers. There's nothing cuter!
