Ehh? Ehhh? See the resemblance? So from now on I will refer to Jared as Mr. Cruise. Pretty fitting since they look like TWINS with their aviators on. My man wears them better, sorry Mr. (former) Cruise. Anyways, this past weekend, Mr. Cruise and I went on a little Sunday date together. As always, there was breakfast. But this was not just any Starbucks breakfast, it was located at the one downtown. I wish I could express to you how much better everything sounds in Sarasota when downtown are the words accompanying it.
After breakfast, it was to Mr. Cruise's dismay that we went to the flea market and collectibles fair at the local Municipal Auditorium in town. With a $2 admission fee, there was pretty much nothing to lose. Let me tell you, I could have bought almost everything. From jewelry, to cool furniture, and picture frames, there was something for every one. We looked around for quite a while, and while I wanted to buy everything, there just wasn't that special item that caught my eye until we stumbled upon that amazing globe in the last picture. Mr. Cruise has always mentioned how he wants an old globe to go in our "study" someday. This was the perfect one; the colors are fantastic and the details make it unique. Talked the owners down from $28 to $18, and she was ours. So out we walked with our little globe in hand, happy as could be.
To finish the date off right, we walked around the place our wedding reception will be someday. I felt like a giddy little girl walking through there. I could see us there, holding hands, someday in the future, as a Mr. and Mrs. I guess in the current case, Mr. and Mrs. Cruise.
I can't wait to see what the future holds.
It's friday! Doing anything fun this weekend? Today Mr. Cruise and I are headed down to my old school stomping grounds in Ft. Myers to see some friends. It feels like a little reunion and I can't wait. Until Monday..

What is with men and their innate hatred of anything used, old or antique? I practically have to throw my husband over my shoulder to get him to go thrifting with me.
Of course, they have no trouble reaping the benefits once at home and away from the stuff as a collective.
I find bribery works best.
Lovely photos you have
I see the resemblance :)
