When Mode-sty first contacted me about their new collection, I was smitten. No longer are the days where skirts and dresses are worn up to the nether regions, but longer hemlines and crew neck tops are the style for the future. Mode-sty has everything that fashion forward conservative women would want and their pieces are just gorgeous. Zahra, one of the founders at Mode-sty, was sweet enough to answer a few questions about the idea behind their collection. I mean really, after you read these answers, you'll want to snatch up every piece.

What is the purpose behind Mode-sty?

Mode-sty aims to break down the notion that style and modesty cannot go together, at least not for the average women. We want to eliminate the struggle conservative dressers face when they go shopping: the feeling that they have to compromise on their style and taste in order to wear something they feel comfortable in. Every women can be stylish, fashion forward and glamours no matter how little she chooses to reveal. Mode-sty is a one-stop shop to find those great pieces that allow you to do that. 

What can buyers expect from the clothing?

To be featured on our site each piece must be great quality, fit and of course coverage. Then we look for figure flattering style and sophistication. Each garment is tried on by a variety of women who score the item on those categories and only the best make the cut. We focus on offering a great hand picked selection of pieces our members will love, we leave out all the rest. 

What is your go to piece for fall from the collection?

The silk lavender skirt! Purple, violet, lavender is the it color this season and this skirt is the perfect way to wear it. Its 100% silk and has a great feel and flow plus it has pockets which make it super practical.

Are the pieces made to accommodate all body types?

Yes! Our collection features styles that look good on different body types. We are also really excited to be featuring a plus size collection. 

What is the best part about working with a modest clothing line?

I love showcasing beautiful, stylish pieces that anyone women would love to wear. It's great to hear back from women who say that they always get complements when they wear something from our collection. That's really a sign of success for us as we want to provide women with pieces that flatter the figure, are feminine and have some flair while maintaining their comfort.
