friday favorites; sarasota
There is just something so special about having a day (or at least a morning) to spend with your best friend. On this particular morning, that we both had free, we found ourselves yet again at the Sarasota Farmer's Market. If you live in Sarasota, as I do myself, you can find yourself becoming obsessed with this place.
I'm not sure if it's the expensive coffee, the inexpensive succulents, or the gorgeous flowers, but if I could, I would spend every Saturday morning here. You can't tell me that the Brunia in these pictures aren't gorgeous. I died and wanted all of them when I saw them.
LAST TIME Jared and I attended the farmer's market, we were quite a bit tanner and sweat a lot more than this time. But still the same, I could see us old and grey, strolling through the streets many years from now, sweat or not.
This time of year, there is just nothing I love more than being with him. Even if it's just a half an hour, I look forward to hearing from him every day and seeing his face. After dating for more than five years, I feel pretty special and blessed to be able to say that and I am proud to have him as mine.
As Christmas is growing ever closer, the feeling of being loved is something I cherish more and more. There are so many things that can keep us distracted, but loving those little moments, or mornings together, is what I strive to do.
THERE'S ONLY 4 DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS! Yeah, I'm pretty excited.
