Yes, I have quite an obsession with the trend of antlers. I mean, how can you not. If they weren't so dang expensive, I would have quite a few pair by now. For quite some time, I have been talking to friends and family about my beloved set that I have finally set out to mount. After them arriving split down the skull (not a happy day) and not knowing how to put them back together, I think they turned out great! I cannot wait to decorate them differently as the seasons come around. To learn how to make the hanging monogram, look HERE.
After scouring the internet trying to find a good resource on how to SIMPLY mount antlers, I came up with nothing. So it was all pretty much trial and error. Gorilla Glue was used to glue to skull together, then holes were drilled into the skull and screws were placed in the holes and into the plaque to hold them in place. A picture hanger was placed in the back and voila! They are the newest addition to my walls. If any of you have a pair of antlers laying around (like we all do) that need to be mounted, hopefully this helps! *please note, all the handy man stuff was done by my ever patient dad. Drills are still not in my tool vocabulary, hopefully soon!
Would love to see any cool DIYs you guys have done recently. I need more inspiration than the countless Pinterest ideas that are way out of my league.

Where did you find the antlers?
Thanks ladies!
The antlers are from an etsy shop, but I can't remember the name. Tons of options on etsy though!
