basics + denim

I'm back! It felt so weird not having a post on Monday, but to be honest, it felt kind of nice at the same time. Usually I am saying to myself on Sunday night, "Okay, you have to remember make a post for Monday." But with Easter and all, spending time with family and relaxing seemed more important and I hope you all did the same! It's important to unplug yourself from the overwhelming blog and social media world sometimes. However, it's good to be back.

This outfit is an example of something I wear all the time. Basics, basics, basics. Also, denim has been overtaking my closet lately between chambray shirts and jeans. With contrasting denim top and bottom, and some neutrals for bag and shoe, I added a pop of color with the scarf and lip. Easy to wear and easy to style, just how I like it.

I don't know about you, but I cannot believe it is already April 2nd! Didn't yesterday feel like Christmas? Or is that just me? Pretty soon I'll be saying didn't yesterday feel like April! Have an awesome Tuesday and keep an eye out for my latest DIY project coming this week!
