friday favorites: a beautiful mess app

I am sure as soon as you saw the first picture, you knew what this post was going to be about. But I really couldn't pass up another Friday Favorites without talking about the best photo editing app, A Beautiful Mess's App. I am so happy these two talented ladies created this. They never cease to amaze me with the things they come up with. Don't mind my wonky picture sizes, because if you follow me on instagram, you know I love the white borders thanks to the second best app, Afterlight. Back to this app, there really isn't anything bad I can say about it, because it's awesome! From fonts to doodles to borders and filters, this app has everything. It only costs $0.99 for the general package and you can upgrade from there. You can't go wrong.

Instagram has always been my favorite, and this adds a whole new "fun-ness" to it. There are so many different options for every picture. I know, like you needed another app and more decisions for your pictures. I could spend so much time on one picture with all these apps! But really, celebrities like Ginnifer Goodwin are picking this thing up. Do you need any more reason? Now go edit like crazy (even though most of you already are!).

 As weekends usually welcome forgetfulness from me, this Friday was no different. Being in a a different city and not having my computer in my lap for hours a day might have had an effect as well. So here's a little look at what's been going on lately. From outfits to projects, to Starbucks and baby watching, my schedule has been jam packed as you read here. Never a dull moment I tell ya.

These last few weeks have certainly been a blur. In reality, what weeks aren't? Who doesn't love good coffee with a little bit of accessories mixed in. Also, isn't my "ma" just the cutest? There were days at the beach and days in the car, but the most special days are the free time I have with my man. Seriously, who has time for outfit photos anymore when all I want to do is snuggle up with him and forget the craziness that I call life.

These past few weeks have been filled to the brim. Seriously, I feel like all that happened in a few weeks should have been more like a few months. A baby girl was welcomed into the world, I got to spend some quality time with friends, there was working involved, organizing was accomplished, golf was viewed, my belly was satisfied, and of course, cute outfits were worn. I am seriously loving this instagram thing to much. Anybody else with me?

 You know how everyone's instagram posts are labeled "life lately according to my iphone?" Well, sadly, I cannot participate in the iphone part; however, one of the highlights of the week was learning the awesome news that instagram was now available for my little old Android! Since learning the it was available the night we dyed easter eggs, I have been pretty obsessed to say the least. Suddenly, I have been thrust into this new technology; twitter (which you can read my little panick attack about it here) and now instagram! I don't know how much more me or my phone battery can handle! I have wanted the iphone for some time now, partially because of instagram, but now that they have it for android, my constant want for it has deminished a bit. My phone takes great pictures, so I am not complaining.

I got to spend time with my man and eat some pretty good food; my coconut frozen yogurt with strawberries, blackberries, pinapple, and bobas was amazing. Dress up and shopping were also in the itinerary for the week!

I hope your week was as good as mine. And if you have an Andriod and have been longing for instagram, hurry up and download that app baby!
