As of the twenty sixth, I only have one month left of my first year of college. I never imagined it would go by this fast. To be honest, I was dreading living away from home. Away from the city I want to live in forever, away from Jared, the man I had come to love, and away from the amazing family God has blessed me with. Now, seven months later, I know I made the right decision for myself. Growing up was not an option; you are now responsible for everything you do. When you wake up, if you go to class, how you eat, and the company you surround yourself with is up to you to decide. The first couple of days were the hardest, they were filled with tears, fear, and hunger, but somehow it all got better. Once I realized I had made this decision I decided that I needed to make the best out of it, so that's just what I did. I tried my best in the education department, even if that meant receiving my first C ever and made some great friends that I hope to stay in touch with for a long time to come. But even more than that, I learned about me, and what I could do if I really set my mind to it. I learned that I can make the best of any situation, even when they are not so easy. I wouldn't trade going away to college for anything, and now that this year is ending, I realize that there is more to living in dorms and taking a bus to class. I'm not sure what yet, but I know everything is already planned for me and it's going to be better than any plan I could imagine.
What is a decision you have made in the past that you would never take back?

Your thoughts on your freshman year were extremely similar to mine - I'm a sophomore this year and still learning everyday, about life and about myself.
Very cute outfit :)
I feel the same way about my freshman year. I have about 5 or 6 weeks left of my freshman year. It has been amazing to look back on the ways that God has used me this year. But mainly, the ways he has changed me.
Lovely print on the cardigan! I love it paired with those blue shorts! I just found your blog, you have a lovely style! If you get a sec, I'd love for you to check out my blog =)

Love your outfit :) very pretty xx
I'm pretty much in the same situation - only four more weeks until my first year of college is over. how did this happen so fast!?
I decided to go abroad although all my friends thought I was crazy because I've had a pretty much perfect life back home. But I didn't regret going away for college - it's been a great experience and I loved every minute of it :) (although dorm life sucks sometimes and I often envied my friends who could go home for a weekend..)
I almost bought that cardigan, left the store to think it over, came back the next day and it was all sold out :( Looks great on you, though!
