Easter is quickly approaching and this time of year makes me look back and realize how blessed I am. For my family, friends, significant other, and even the little things such as jobs and my pup. But the biggest thing I am blessed by is the love that Christ has for me. Dying eggs and planning what you're wearing for your Easter festivities is something to celebrate and look forward to and something I whole-heatedly take part in, but sometimes I forget how special Easter truly is-for a different reason.

I just wanted to leave you with this simple verse that reminds me of God's love at this wonderful spring holiday.

All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by his great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Now we live with great expectation, and we have a priceless inheritance-an inheritance that is kept in heaven for you, pure and undefiled, beyond the reach of change and decay. And through your faith, God is protecting you by his power until you receive this salvation, which is ready to be revealed on the last day for all to see.
