Everyone, this is going to be a quick one. Maybe because of the fast that it's almost midnight and this girl has to wake up before the crack of dawn. I have some pretty exciting things happening in my life lately. One being that tomorrow I get to go to the Vera Bradley Premiere in Orlando, Florida. You know, just the perks of working at a gift shop that happens to carry Mrs. Bradley. It's going to be a color explosion, but I am up for it.
On another note...
Just as everything seems to be going well, I am finding myself struggling more and more about what I am meant to do in this life. There is a passion inside of me for writing and a practical side of me for the health care field. It's almost as if I am being pulled in completely different directions; I don't want to lose out on any opportunities.
Have you ever felt this way? There is nothing I want more than to decide what I want to do any stick with it, but lately, it just doesn't seem that easy.
Sorry to dump my complicated nutshell on you. Maybe some Canyon or Provencial goodness can cheer me up (lingo of someone who talks the Vera language frequently)
Happy Hump Day!

Hey Amy,
I know this is SO overused in the christian circle but God really does have a plan for your life and he loves you. "For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord. Plans to prosper and not to harm you. Plans to give you a hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11)
I have struggled with times where I want to go two directions. specifically it was in my major, I wasn't sure that my plans matched up with God's plans. But I prayed about it a lot and decided to combine the two. So I am now a communications with an emphasis in christian ministry major. I love what I am learning and I can't wait to see what God is going to do with it. In addition, you are NOT alone a lot of us feel as though we are being pulled in two different directions at many points in our life.
I know that this is weird but I am going to type our a prayer for you. know that I will continue to pray for you in my quite time.
Dear God,
Thank you for Amy and for who she is in you. what a beautiful daughter of Christ that you are shaping her into. I pray that you would reveal to what she is supposed to pick as her major. Give her peace with this decision. Help her use her passion for your glory. You know exactly what you want her to go into and so I just pray that you would reveal that to her in YOUR time. Your timing is not always our timing but it is the best timing. Thank you for our chance to connect even if it is just online. Thank you for her blog and what an encouragement it has been to me. Be with your precious daughter Amy in this time of uncertainty. Help her to lean on you.
"Cast all your anxieties on the Lord because he cares for you." (1 Peter 5:7)
Amen.
Blessings and I am here if you want or need to talk about ANYTHING ever.
