The end of the year always brings one thing: reflection. So I figured it appropriate to reflect on some of my favorite posts these next couple of days as the year comes to an end. This journey of blogging has been a crazy one. I have learned so much more than I ever thought I could, met people I never would have otherwise, and found something that I love to do and that inspires me. Not many people can say they've done all that in a year and because of that, I am proud to call this little space mine. Enjoy this look on the past year, I know I did!
This is first introduction post where most of it began. I introduced myself (and my love) to this blogosphere not knowing what would come of it. I remember being so scared but yet excited writing every word.
Probably my favorite post to write and have is my boy meets girl post. Talking about when we first met is always something I love to relive. To me, it's still magical. Read more posts about us and our journey HERE.
My first outfit post is something I will never forget. My, oh my, I had no idea what I was doing. The awkward poses can prove it! Little did I know this post would spark something in me I didn't know I had.
Not only do I love this outfit and may be dreaming of summertime already (too soon?) I also love the story behind it. One of the times I will never forget in my college experience. Don't worry, it's rated PG.
THIS post is special to me and maybe only me. I am not very sentimental, but these jeans still sit in the bottom of my closet. Most things I don't mind throwing away, but these will be something I keep forever.
Getting my AA degree is something I am most proud of in the last year. It marks a milestone in my life and college career. It's crazy to me how a little piece of paper can mean so much.
THIS post always centers me, grounds me in a way that I cannot explain. Thank you, little girl. I think about you often.
A look on why blogging is so amazing to me. From 161 followers to 410 today, it still amazes me. I grow more and more passionate about it each day.
Our trip to St. Augustine is probably my favorite of the year. It was just the two of us. A day that only us will remember forever. There is something so special about having a memory with just you and your significant other.
This has been the year of the tattoos, as I have obtained two in 2012 alone, but I just love the way THIS one turned out. As for my other one, you can read about that HERE.
I've always loved projects and redoing things my way. When I started blogging; however, the love continued to grow and grow. These ornaments were probably the most fun to create. See more of my DIY's in the past year HERE.
As the new year is just around the corner, THIS post will definitely get you through it. I can't believe that another year has come and gone and I am so happy that I can look back on these posts and see where life has taken me in a year. It has had it's ups and downs, trials and errors, and it was filled with laughter and learning along the way.
Through the giveaways, sponsors, HTML codes, and hours upon hours of writing, I can honestly say I am so happy to be entering my second year of blogging. I know there is still so much to learn and do, so BRING IT ON!
I hope you enjoyed these eleven posts that have brought me to where I am today. This blog would be no where without any of you to share it with. Thank you for believing in me, inspiring me, and being such a blessing to me and my journey. The best is yet to come, people, so join me. I cannot wait to see what the future holds!
Stay tuned for tomorrow as I look back on a year of my favorite and most inspiring part of this blog, my personal style!
